Just a quick post to let you know I’ve joined Roni in her Wednesday Weekly WI’s!
I originally chose Monday’s as my WI day to force me to be on track during the weekends. I needed that to make me hold myself accountable, but something has changed. I’m finding myself in control. With being in control & having parties/BBQs on the weekend it’s great, but when I step on the scale on Monday mornings & don’t see a loss or only a half a pound I can’t help but feel a little discouraged. Especially being I am a daily weigher still & I know I’ve lost more it’s just a bit of water retention from a drink or salty foods.
So when Roni made this post last week I toyed around with the idea, but wanted to see how I made out on Monday before committing to it totally. After losing 0.4 on Monday & then stepping on the scale on Tuesday & seeing a much larger loss I knew then I wanted to give it a try. I spoke to my partner in crime on Tuesday & she is all for the Wednesday WI. I told her my concerns about staying in control especially over the weekends and as usual she made perfect sense by telling me “this isn’t set in stone, we don’t have to stick to a specific WI day as if we went to meetings, if we find it doesn’t work out, we’ll go back to Mondays as our WI day.” Dude – see, I told you she was genius!
So, without further ado – my WI today resulted in a loss of 2.7 from Monday!
