The results this Wednesday WI are what I expected… gained 0.9. I had a fabulous weekend in Vermont with Rich…that reconnecting time I spoke about yesterday & it included great meals out with drinks! Something we don’t normally do. Heck, we really don’t do at all! With a husband working two jobs & a working Mom having to be on her toes 24/7 with a terrible three’s three year old going out to eat & having a drink is quite foreign to us. So I take this WI with a grain of salt…ya know…like on the rim of a margarita….(Yeah, I pretty much licked the salt right off this rim & several more!)
Speaking of Sodium…we went out for Chinese our first night in Vermont & this was my fortune… I thought it was quite Instagram worthy…and a great way to start the weekend!
But the weekend wasn’t all a face stuffing event… When in Vermont you just need to get outside & hike! That’s what we did both days. I burned well over 2,000 calories in those two days hiking & walking around town, but apparently I ate more than I burned.

Near the outlets (where we got more walking in!) Orvis had a HUGE tent set up for donations to head down to the areas affected by Sandy. This warmed my heart. I know help is coming from everywhere, but to see it with my own eyes was amazing. Especially knowing how much this area was damaged by Irene just last year.
…and because the breakfast at North Shire Lodge was so incredibly delicious…and well, pancakes are my middle name – I had to Instagram this one…
