Beyond Sandy: Helping Families Return Home

If you’re looking for ways to help the families affected by Sandy & financially are unable to, please check out Beyond Sandy on Facebook for more information on how you can help!

There’s just no other way to explain the wonderful idea that came from an area Mom on how you can help – how EVERYONE can help, but from her own words:

Your BED BATH & BEYOND COUPONS can help families recover some essential home items lost to the storm.

To collect Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons – current and expired – nationwide and donate them to Superstorm Sandy families as a form of “retail relief” as they replace so many of their home essentials.

All over New York’s 5 boroughs and Long Island, families have lost not just their physical houses, but everything contained IN those houses as well. Just imagine losing all your towels, sheets, pillows, rugs, coffee makers, forks and spoons, glasses and picture frames… the list goes on. As these families look towards the future and are rehoming, we found a small way to help that doesn’t require a cash donation. Just a simple blue and white coupon that can help someone rebuild their life, one dish at a time. All over the country people have a stash of Bed Bath & Beyond coupons they may not need. There is BUYING POWER in those coupons! There is HOPE. And you can help.

General Information

Collect any Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons you have (EVEN THE EXPIRED ONES) and forward them to us. (Of course if you’d like to share a gift card we’ll put those to good use too!) Share our idea with your friends and coworkers! We will distribute them en masse to local organizations in hard hit areas who are well-positioned to aid with the rehoming phase of the Sandy recovery effort. Every single coupon out there (and there are millions) is money left on the table – the more we get, the more we can help.
